Terms of Service — Dumbbells & More

Last updated: 14 August 2025

These terms govern your use of dumbbellsandmore.co.uk and any purchases you make from Dumbbells & More (“we”, “us”). By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms.

1) Who we are

We’re an online‑only retailer of strength and fitness equipment based in Runcorn, UK. Our contact details are at the end of these terms.

2) Using the website

  • You must be 18 or over to place an order.

  • Don’t misuse the site (e.g., introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, scrape content).

  • We may suspend or change the site for security, maintenance or improvements.

3) Products, specs and imagery

We work to keep descriptions accurate, but manufacturers may update specifications, finishes and packaging. If a change is material, we’ll get in touch to offer options. Colours can vary by screen.

4) Prices, VAT and availability

  • Prices are in GBP and include UK VAT where applicable.

  • Pricing and availability can change at any time; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you submit the order.

  • Stock and delivery estimates are guidance, not guarantees.

5) Orders and contract formation

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept when we dispatch your items and send a dispatch confirmation. We may refuse an order (for example, due to an obvious pricing error, stock issues, or payment authorisation failure).

6) Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. You confirm you’re authorised to use the chosen method and that details are correct.

7) Delivery

Delivery options, timeframes and responsibilities are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk passes on delivery; title passes when we receive full payment.

8) Promotions

Promotional offers are subject to their specific terms and may be withdrawn. Where returns reduce an order below a promotion threshold, we may revise the benefit accordingly.

9) Reviews & user content

If you submit reviews, photos or other content you:
(a) warrant you have the rights to share it; (b) grant us a non‑exclusive licence to use it for marketing and on our site; (c) agree we may moderate or remove content that breaches these terms or the law.

10) Warranty & your legal rights

Manufacturer warranties may apply in addition to your statutory rights. Nothing here limits rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

11) Liability

We’re responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill or by breach of contract. We don’t exclude liability where unlawful to do so (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence). We supply for domestic use only and aren’t liable for business losses.

12) Events beyond our control

We aren’t liable for delays or failures due to events outside our reasonable control (strikes, extreme weather, carrier disruption, etc.). We’ll let you know and minimise the impact.

13) Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can bring proceedings in your local courts.

14) Complaints & contact

We aim to resolve issues quickly. If you’ve a complaint, please contact us (details below). If we can’t resolve it, we’ll signpost an appropriate ADR body.
