Returns & Refunds Policy — Dumbbells & More

Thanks for shopping with Dumbbells & More. We want buying fitness kit online to be easy and risk‑free, so here’s how cancellations, returns and refunds work. This policy is written to align with UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

1) Change‑of‑mind cancellations (distance purchases)

  • You can cancel most online orders within 14 calendar days from the day after your item is delivered.

  • After telling us you wish to cancel, you have a further 14 days to send the goods back.

  • We refund within 14 days of receiving the return (or of you providing proof of posting), to your original payment method.

What condition should returns be in?
Please return items unused, unassembled and with all parts, manuals and—where reasonably possible—the original packaging. You may handle goods to the extent needed to check them as you could in a shop; if items come back with wear, missing parts, or heavy assembly marks, we may make a reasonable deduction for diminished value.

Exceptions (non‑returnable for change of mind):

  • Custom or made‑to‑order items

  • Hygiene‑sensitive products once opened (e.g., training mats, wearable supports) unless faulty

  • Items that have been assembled, installed or used

Return postage for change‑of‑mind:
You cover return shipping unless we sent the wrong item or it’s faulty. For heavy/large items we can arrange a carrier—see Bulky item collections below.

2) Faulty, damaged or not as described

You’re protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • Within 30 days of delivery: you can reject faulty goods for a full refund.

  • After 30 days and within 6 months: we will repair or replace at no cost. If that’s not possible or proportionate, you can request a refund.

  • Transit damage / missing parts: tell us within 48 hours of delivery and include photos so we can sort it quickly.

3) Bulky item collections

Strength kit can be heavy. If you need us to collect:

  • We’ll quote a collection fee based on weight, dimensions, service (pallet/two‑person), and postcode.

  • We’ll provide a collection window and packing guidance (e.g., re‑boxing, palletising).

  • No fee for confirmed faulty items.

4) How to start a return

Email support@dumbbellsandmore.co.uk with your order number, the item(s) and the reason for return (photos help). We’ll issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) and instructions. Please don’t send items back without an RMA, as this may delay your refund.

5) Refund timing & delivery costs

  • Refunds go to the original payment method.

  • If you paid for a delivery upgrade (e.g., named‑day, room‑of‑choice), we refund up to the standard delivery amount on change‑of‑mind returns.

  • If only part of an order is returned and a promotion threshold is no longer met, we may adjust the refund to reflect the discount originally applied.

6) Exchanges

If stock allows, we’re happy to exchange like‑for‑like. Otherwise, we’ll process a refund and you can place a new order.
